Pet Buyer Feedback

my name is Mitch I purchased Snoball a little less then a year ago. The process of getting her to me was flawless and she arrived on time at the airport. when we got her home she was quick to get adjusted to her new environment and her new “brother” Scotch my sisters 4 month old ridge back Shepard mix but she did her best to try and tree the two rabbits we had in the house. she went everywhere I could take her with me even went to the mall with her, got yelled at but it was worth it. Snoball is really smart it only took about a week and a half to get her house broken and was sitting and speaking not long after. will say she has one heck of a personality a little bit of a brat but I still love her and the funniest thing she did was one day my sister ate a bowl of soup left it on the tv tray she jumps up on the couch and looks at me I say “I know what your trying to do get off the couch.” she looks me dead in the eye and sticks her tongue in the empty bowl and runs like hahahaha dad. she has been a great addition to he family and have to say she kept my head up when I was going through a ruff patch last year. love her to death and am so happy I found her. ps I still torment my self looking at the new litters plan on getting a couple more when I have the money and space to do it.

Kim,
I attached pictures of Indigo on our trip from Annapolis to the Bahamas. She did not actually get to cross the Atlantic; she stayed home with a friend – this time. She is a great sailor!

PS – In the background of the first picture, you can see the H.M.S. Bounty docked in Annapolis. It soon sunk off the coast of the Carolinas in Hurricane Sandy.

Pet Buyer Feedback For Gambit

Gambit The True Blue Bluetick Coonhound

This is pet buyer feedback from a family in Canada that bought Gambit. Gambit is one of the True Blue Bluetick Coonhounds that we have bred. Isn’t he just the cutest thing ever? He is very smart too!

Hello from Canada, just sending an update on our little glorious buddy Gambit. He is doing just wonderful, he had a blast this past hunting season and took to it with remarkable ease. Such a smart guy he is. And now him and I have joined our local search and rescue team, we are working together to train him for a search dog and so far he has found all his lost persons (exercises) in record time, and even beaten the shepard that they have on more then one occasion. He has been a great joy to our family since the day we brought him home . We hope all is well with you and yours . Best wishes in the new year from the Murray family.

Jade is my second Bluetick Coonhound from Evenstar Hounds and I love her! She has been a great addition to our family. Jade has been a perfect playmate and little sister to our first Bluetick Coonhound Jasper. We added Jade to our family when Jasper was about 10 months old. Jasper has been a huge fan of his baby sister and has helped teach her house manners. Jade is so loving, and smart! She is almost 5 months old now, and so well trained already. She is fully potty trained, and knows basic house manners like, sit, off, no, quiet, drop it, lay down, and she can give a high five. I think with having Jasper to watch, and learn from she has become a well trained dog much faster than she would have living alone. Jasper and Jade share a kennel, eat and drink out of the same dishes, and cry when they can not be together! I am just so pleased with how my AKC, UKC registered Bluetick Coonhounds are as house pets. They never hunt, or do dog shows, they are not even big walkers. They just love to play, cuddle, and be a part of our family. They are amazing with my daughter, and kind to our black and white, very raccoon looking cat. Getting my pets from Evenstar Hounds in Alabama was the best choice I have ever made! I love how helpful Kim is, and how much she deeply cares about her dogs.

Thank you for everything!

Daisy is so much fun, we all are enjoying her.  She knows how to play and get into everything but she also knows how to just relax and take it easy.  She was so easy to potty train, we were crate training her, and now she is fully potty trained.

She loves  everyone and she loves other dogs.  She is very intelligent and very loyal.  I am so glad we got her from you!  Thank You

She’s doing great! Very lively and puppy like.  She has also been very good about house training, and only averages 1 accident a day right now, which is extremely impressive.

Hi Kim, She is doing good, she enjoys tormenting the other dog but stops when he has enough. She now knows sit and to go to the door if she needs to go to the bathroom. I am in the process of teaching her to use that nose of hers to find stuff in the woods i.e. treats that I drag along the ground and hide somewhere. I attached a bunch of pictures of her, she has a sweater and a jacket till she is acclimatized.

Kim,
Indigo is the best puppy ever! She is very affectionate. She is happy to romp around the house but also loves to play in the yard. Every person who meets her says she is the cutest puppy. Our family loves this dog.  Thank you!!!

Pet Buyer Feedback

I live in Minnesota and Found Kim and her kennel Evenstar Hounds in June of 2011 when we wanted to add a Puppy to our family. When we could not find any proper Bluetick Coonhound puppies close to us I looked all over Google. I found so many options for puppies! At the time I really had no idea how to pick a good bluetick coonhound. All of the sites I looked over talked about the hunting skills of the dogs and showed pictures of parents treeing animals or holding birds. I did not want or need a hunting dog, I wanted a pretty, sweet, goofy family pet. I was so thrilled when I found Kim and her kennel! She made it very clear on her site that her dogs could be great hunters, AKC and UKC show dogs, and perfect family pets. Every puppy on her website was so cute! She had links to bloodline info and all of the information that most people buying a hound would want. After looking at the Bluetick Coonhound Puppies for the better part of an hour I called Kim to talk to her about the puppies. I let her know the size of my home, yard, and family. I also let her know what kind of time I had to put into training a puppy, and that I already had a cat. With the information I gave her she helped me pick out Jasper. She let me know that he was playful and goofy, but at the same time very mellow. I was pleased that she had a puppy that was perfect for me. After Kim got our deposit she put him on hold for us and sent me an email with a really cute picture of Jasper in a raccoon flower pot. I printed it and put it on my fridge! Kim took the time to talk to me about what and how much I should feed Jasper, how and why I should kennel train him, and what kind of toys to get him all before he even got to me. After I got the other half of my payment to Evenstar Hounds Kim booked Jasper his flight on Delta Airlines. When she did she called me and gave me everything I needed to pick him up from the airport and asked me to call her when we picked him up. When we picked Jasper up he was EVERYTHING Kim told me he would be! He has been the best dog a family could ask for. I feel like he has been very easy to train as a pet and has very good manners for a big hound dog. I even taught him that quiet means stop barking! My family and I have been so Happy with Jasper, and he has been so happy with us, he even likes our cat. Now that Jasper is almost 9 months old I made the choice to get him a little sister, so we came back to Evenstar Hounds and talked to kim again. This time she helped us pick Jade from her February litter. I know that Jade is going to be another perfect house pet for us! At first I had real concerns about buying a puppy from another sate, but Kim and her dogs are the best, and Kim has always been around to answer questions I have about how to take care of and train Jasper. I am so excited for April when Jade can fly here to Minnesota and enjoy the summer with us!

Thanx again for everything Kim! After all of the time you have spent working with me I feel like I really know how to work with Jasper, I am excited to see if he likes dog shows this summer!

Here are some pictures of Jasper from when he was just a baby up till now, I added a few baby pictures of Jade too!
